Sukta 9.86
राजा समुद्रं नद्यो वि गाहतेऽपामूर्मिं सचते सिन्धुषु श्रितः । अध्यस्थात्सानु पवमानो अव्ययं नाभा पृथिव्या धरुणो महो दिवः ॥
rājā samudráṃ nádyo ví gāhate ’apām ū́rmiṃ sacate síndhuṣu śritáḥ | ádhy asthāt sā́nu pávamāno avyáyaṃ nā́bhā pṛthivyā́ dharuṇó mahó diváḥ ||
كملكٍ يدخل المحيط كما تدخل الأنهارُ إليه؛ مقيمًا في الجداول، يصاحب موجَ المياه. لقد ارتقى المُطهِّر لذاته القمّةَ غيرَ الفانية: سُرّةَ الأرض، الأساسَ العظيمَ للسماء—مُقيمًا العوالم على حقٍّ ثابت.
