Transliteration
vṛ́ṣā hy ási bhānúnā dyumántaṃ tvā havāmahe | pavámāna svādhyàḥ ||
Translation
لأنك الثورُ بشعاعِ نورِك؛ إياك، أيها المتألّق، ندعو—يا سوما بافامانا، المُطهِّرَ لذاتِه، القويَّ بسفادْهيا (svādhyā) الخاصّةِ بك.
