प्र सोम देववीतये सिन्धुर्न पिप्ये अर्णसा । अंशोः पयसा मदिरो न जागृविरच्छा कोशं मधुश्चुतम् ॥
Transliteration
prá sóma devávītaye síndhur ná pipye árṇasā | aṃśóḥ páyasā madiró ná jāgṛvír ácchā kóśaṃ madhú-ścutam ||
Translation
انطلقْ، يا سوما، إلى ترحيبِ الآلهةِ المسرور؛ وانتفخْ كنهرٍ بسيلِكَ المنسكب. أيقِظْنا وانهضْ بنا بلبنِ جوهركَ المُسكِر؛ واجرِ مستقيمًا إلى الوعاءِ المُقطِّرِ عسلًا.
