Sukta 7.62
प्र बाहवा सिसृतं जीवसे न आ नो गव्यूतिमुक्षतं घृतेन । आ नो जने श्रवयतं युवाना श्रुतं मे मित्रावरुणा हवेमा ॥
prá bā́havā sisṛtaṃ jīváse na ā́ no gavyū́tim ukṣataṃ ghṛténa | ā́ no jáne śravayataṃ yuvānā śrutáṃ me mitrāvaruṇā havé mā ||
مُدّوا أذرعَكم إلى الأمام لأجل حياتِنا؛ واسكبوا علينا سَبيلَ القطعانِ المضيئة، بالغِنى المُصفّى (غْهْرِتَا/ghṛta). وأسمِعوا اسمَنا بين الناس، أيّها الفتيانُ ذوو القوّة؛ اسمعا ندائي هذا، يا مِتْرَا وفَرُونَة، في فعلِ الابتهال.
