मा स्रेधत सोमिनो दक्षता महे कृणुध्वं राय आतुजे । तरणिरिज्जयति क्षेति पुष्यति न देवासः कवत्नवे ॥
Transliteration
mā́ srédhata somino dákṣatā mahé kṛṇudhvám rāyá ātúje | taraṇír íj jayati kṣéti púṣyati ná devā́saḥ kavatnávé ||
Translation
لا تَفشَلوا، يا عاصري السُّوما؛ كونوا ذوي كفاية—واعملوا للعظيم، للغِنى الوافد سريعًا. إنَّ القوّةَ المتجاوزةَ حقًّا تَغلِب، وتَسكُن، وتَزداد؛ فالآلهةُ ليست لضعيفِ السعي.
