एष स्तोमो मह उग्राय वाहे धुरीवात्यो न वाजयन्नधायि । इन्द्र त्वायमर्क ईट्टे वसूनां दिवीव द्यामधि नः श्रोमतं धाः ॥

Transliteration

eṣá stómो mahá ugrā́ya vā́he dhurī́v ā́tyo ná vājáyan adhāyi | índra tvā́yam arká ī́ṭṭe vásūnāṃ divī́va dyā́m ádhi naḥ śrómataṃ dhāḥ ||

Translation

هذه التَّسبيحةُ قد أُقيمتْ للعظيمِ المُهيب، للحامل—كجوادٍ مُقترَنٍ بالنِّير يَندفعُ طلبًا لِفَيْضِ القوّة، هكذا ثُبِّتَت. يا إندرا، إنَّ هذا النَّشيدَ (أَرْكَ) يَسألُكَ الثَّروات؛ فاجعلْ لنا سَماعًا ساميًا كالسَّماء، وصِيتًا قائمًا على المَقامِ المُضيء.
