उच्छा दिवो दुहितः प्रत्नवन्नो भरद्वाजवद्विधते मघोनि । सुवीरं रयिं गृणते रिरीह्युरुगायमधि धेहि श्रवो नः ॥

Transliteration

ucchā divó duhitāḥ pratnávanno bharadvājávad vidhaté maghoni | suvī́raṃ rayíṃ gṛṇaté rirīhy urugāyám ádhi dhehi śrávo naḥ ||

Translation

انهضي، يا ابنةَ السماء، على النهج القديم، لأجلنا—مُحسِنةً إلى العابد كما أحسنتِ إلى بهارادفاجا، أيتها القدرةُ السخيّة. وللمنشد الذي يثبتكِ ويُقِرّ بكِ، وسّعي واغرسي فينا ثراءً ذا بأسٍ بطولي؛ وأقيمي علينا صيتًا بعيدَ المدى، يُتغنّى به على اتّساع.
