आ वृत्रहणा वृत्रहभिः शुष्मैरिन्द्र यातं नमोभिरग्ने अर्वाक् । युवं राधोभिरकवेभिरिन्द्राग्ने अस्मे भवतमुत्तमेभिः ॥

ā́ vṛtrahanā vṛtrahábhhiḥ śúṣmair índra yā́taṃ namóbhir agne arvā́k | yuváṃ rā́dhobhir ákavebhir indrā́gne asmè bhavatam uttamébhiḥ ||

تعالَيا إلى هنا، يا إندرا ويا أغني، يا قاتِلَي ڤِرترا، بقواكما الظافرتين وطاقاتكما الدافعة؛ واقتربا إلينا بصلواتِ خضوعِنا. أنتما، إندرا-أغني، كونا لنا—بعطاياكما التي لا تُخطئ والمضيئة—أعلى الأعوان وحامِلَي أطيبِ الفيوضات.
