शृण्वे वीर उग्रमुग्रं दमायन्नन्यमन्यमतिनेनीयमानः । एधमानद्विळुभयस्य राजा चोष्कूयते विश इन्द्रो मनुष्यान् ॥

śṛṇvé vīrá ugrám-ugraṃ damā-yán anyám-anyaṃ ati-nenī́yamānaḥ | edhamāná-dvíḷ ubháyasya rā́jā coṣkū́yate víśa índro manuṣyā̀n ||

يُسمَعُ البطلُ—أشدَّ فأشدَّ بأسًا—يُخضِعُ ويَدفعُ هذا بعدَ ذاك إلى ما وراء. ناميًا، مُبغِضًا للمُنقَسِم، مَلِكًا للطرفين، يُحرِّضُ إندرا عشائرَ البشر على الحركةِ والسعيِ والكفاح.
