आ वो यन्तूदवाहासो अद्य वृष्टिं ये विश्वे मरुतो जुनन्ति । अयं यो अग्निर्मरुतः समिद्ध एतं जुषध्वं कवयो युवानः ॥
Transliteration
ā́ vo yantūdavāhā́so adyá vṛ́ṣṭiṃ yé víśve marúto junánti | ayáṃ yó agnír marutaḥ samíddha etáṃ juṣadhvaṃ kavayo yuvānaḥ ||
Translation
تعالوا إلينا اليوم، يا حاملي المياه؛ أنتم—جميع الماروت—الذين يدفعون المطر إلى الأمام. هذا الـAgni هنا، أيّها الماروت، قد أُضرِم؛ فاستلذّوا به وارضَوه—يا كَفِيّين (kavi) رُؤاةً، يا فِتيةً أبدًا.
