Sukta 5.35
त्वामिद्वृत्रहन्तम जनासो वृक्तबर्हिषः । उग्रं पूर्वीषु पूर्व्यं हवन्ते वाजसातये ॥
tvām íd vṛtrahántamam janā́so vṛktábarhiṣaḥ | ugráṁ pūrvī́ṣu pū́rvyaṁ hávante vājásātaye ||
إنه أنتَ حقًّا، الأشدُّ قتلًا لِڤِرْترا (Vṛtra)، الذي يدعوه الناسُ ذوو العشبِ المقدّسِ المبسوط؛ قوّتُك العاتية، القديمةُ بين القُدماء—لأجلِ نيلِ vā́ja، وفرةِ القوّةِ الظافرة.
