उरुव्यचा नो महिषः शर्म यंसदस्मिन्हवे पुरुहूतः पुरुक्षुः । स नः प्रजायै हर्यश्व मृळयेन्द्र मा नो रीरिषो मा परा दाः ॥
uru-vyácā no mahíṣaḥ śárma yaṁsad asmín háve puruhūtáḥ purukṣúḥ | sá naḥ prajā́yai hary-aśva mṛḷayéndra mā́ no rīriṣo mā́ párā dāḥ ||
لِيَمْنَحْنَا الجَبَّارُ الوَاسِعُ النُّفُوذِ مَلْجَأً فِي هٰذَا النِّدَاءِ—إِنْدْرَا، المُسْتَدْعَى مِنَ الكَثِيرِينَ، المُكَثِّرُ لِلكَثِيرِ. لِأَجْلِ نَسْلِنَا وَلِأَجْلِ صَيْرُورَتِنَا، يَا إِنْدْرَا ذَا الجِيَادِ المُشْرِقَةِ، تَرَأَّفْ؛ لَا تُؤْذِنَا، وَلَا تَطْرَحْنَا بَعِيدًا.
