Sukta 10.124
अदेवाद्देवः प्रचता गुहा यन्प्रपश्यमानो अमृतत्वमेमि । शिवं यत्सन्तमशिवो जहामि स्वात्सख्यादरणीं नाभिमेमि ॥
adévād deváḥ prácatā guhā́ yán prápáśyamāno amṛtatvám emi | śiváṁ yát sántam áśivo jahā́mi svā́t sakhyā́d áraṇīṁ nā́bhim emi ||
من غيرِ الإله إلى الإله أمضي، مندفعًا بقوّةٍ مستيقظة، سائرًا في الغارِ الخفيّ؛ وبنظري إلى الأمام أبلغُ الأَمْرِتَتْفَا (الخلود). أتركُ ما لا يُسعِد—وإن بدا شِيفًا (مباركًا)—وأفارقُ صُحبةً قديمة؛ وأمضي إلى الأَرَني، إلى النَّابِهي، إلى المنبعِ الذي يولدُ منه النار.
