Sukta 10.115
अग्निर्ह नाम धायि दन्नपस्तमः सं यो वना युवते भस्मना दता । अभिप्रमुरा जुह्वा स्वध्वर इनो न प्रोथमानो यवसे वृषा ॥
agnír ha nā́ma dhāyi dánn apástamaḥ sáṃ yó vánā yuváte bhásmanā datā́ | abhípramurā́ juhvā́ svadhvará inó ná próthamāno yávase vṛ́ṣā ||
إنَّ أَغْنِي قد أُقيمَ بالاسم؛ هو المُعطي، الأشدُّ بأسًا في الأعمال؛ هو الذي يضمُّ الغاباتَ ويأكلها حتى تصيرَ رمادًا. وبالمِغرفةِ يدفعُ إلى الأمام في القُربانِ الحَسَن؛ كقوّةٍ سيّدةٍ تنبسطُ اتّساعًا—ثورًا للغِذاء.
