मन्द्रजिह्वा जुगुर्वणी होतारा दैव्या कवी । यज्ञं नो यक्षतामिमं सिध्रमद्य दिविस्पृशम् ॥

mandrá-jihvā jugurváṇī hotā́rā daivyā́ kavī́ | yajñáṃ no yakṣatām imáṃ sídhram adyá divi-spṛ́śam ||

فَلْيُقَرِّبْ لَنَا هَذَا اليَجْنَا (yajña) الهُوتْرَانِ الإِلَهِيَّانِ، الكَفِيَّانِ (kavi) ذَوَا الأَلْسِنَةِ المُفْرِحَةِ وَالتَّرْتِيلِ القَوِيِّ—قُرْبَانًا نَافِعًا اليَوْمَ، يَمَسُّ السَّمَاءَ.
