Hanuman’s Offer of Rescue and Sita’s Dharmic Refusal
सायुधा बहवो व्योम्नि राक्षसास्त्वं निरायुधः।कथं शक्ष्यसि संयातुं मां चैव परिरक्षितुम्।।।।
sāyudhā bahavo vyomni rākṣasās tvaṃ nirāyudhaḥ | kathaṃ śakṣyasi saṃyātuṃ māṃ caiva parirakṣitum ||
سيواجهك في السماء رākṣasas كثيرون مدجّجون بالسلاح، وأنت بلا سلاح. فكيف تقدر أن تقاتل وأن تحميني في آنٍ واحد؟
"The demons are in large number and they will be armed with weapons. You are unarmed. How can you fight and protect me?
Dharma as wise discernment (viveka): Sītā evaluates capability and risk, insisting that protection of the vulnerable must not be attempted recklessly.
