Transliteration

tasyāyam atulaś śabdo jāhnavīm abhivartate | vāri-saṅkṣobhajo rāma praṇāmaṃ niyataḥ kuru || 1.24.10 ||

Translation

حين تقترب الجاهنَفِي (الغانغا) ينهض هذا الهدير الذي لا نظير له، ناشئًا من اضطراب المياه وتصادمها. يا راما، وبقلبٍ ساكن، قدّم سجودَ التحية بخشوع.
