kiṃ kariṣyāmi rājyena sāpavādena lakṣmaṇa ||

يا لاكشمانا، وإن كنتُ قد تعهّدتُ أن أصون صدق أبينا، فماذا ينفعني مُلكٌ يُنال بالعار والبهتان، بقتل بهاراتا الذي جاء إلى هنا؟
