इमां वाप्येष वैदेहीमत्यन्तसुखसेविनीम्।पिता मे राघव श्श्रीमान्वनादादाय यास्यति।।।।
imāṃ vāpy eṣa vaidehīm atyantasukhasevinīm | pitā me rāghava śrīmān vanād ādāya yāsyati ||
وإلا يا راغهافا، فإن أبي الميمون المجيد سيأخذ فايدهِي، التي نُشِّئت في غاية النعيم، ويُخرجها من الغابة ليعيدها.
Our father, the prosperous Dasaratha, after withdrawing this princess Vaidehi who is brought up in luxury from the forest (to Ayodhya), will return.
Protective dharma toward those unaccustomed to hardship: Lakṣmaṇa imagines the king acting out of concern for Sītā’s well-being.
Lakṣmaṇa speculates that the approaching royal presence may be meant to retrieve Sītā from forest hardship and return to the city.
Care and responsibility—Lakṣmaṇa foregrounds Sītā’s welfare and the elder’s protective impulse.
