Bharata’s Ferrying of the Army across the Ganga
शत्रुघ्नोत्तिष्ठ किं शेषे निषादाधिपतिं गुहम्।शीघ्रमानय भद्रं ते तारयिष्यति वाहिनीम्।।।।
śatrughnottiṣṭha kiṃ śeṣe niṣādādhipatiṃ guham | śīghram ānaya bhadraṃ te tārayiṣyati vāhinīm ||
«يا شاترُغْنا، انهض—لِمَ لا تزال نائمًا؟ أسرِعْ وأحضر غُها، سيدَ النِّشادَة. لك البركة؛ فهو سيُعين على عبور الجيش.»
They brought excellent boats known as Swastika, solidly built, they lookd magnificent, filled with large bells, sails and flags.
Dharma here is responsible leadership: timely action, proper delegation, and seeking rightful assistance to protect and guide the community (the vāhinī) across a difficult passage.
Bharata is organizing the crossing of the river and instructs Śatrughna to quickly bring Guha, whose resources and local authority can ferry the group safely.
Bharata’s administrative prudence and urgency—he prioritizes the safety and orderly movement of the whole retinue.
