जागर्मि नाहं स्वपिमि तमेवाऽर्यं विचिन्तयन्।इत्येवमब्रवीद्भ्रात्ता शत्रुघ्नोऽपि प्रचोदितः।।।।

jāgarmi nāhaṃ svapimi tam evāryaṃ vicintayan | ity evam abravīd bhrātā śatrughno 'pi pracoditaḥ ||

ولمّا حثّه بهاراتا، أجاب شترغنا: «لست نائمًا؛ إنما أنا يقظٌ، مستغرقٌ في التفكّر بذلك السيد النبيل الأكبر—راما.»
