अयोध्याकाण्डे त्र्यशीति तमः सर्गः — Bharata’s Departure and Encampment on the Gaṅgā
Śṛṅgīberapura
सुवेषा श्शुद्धवसनास्ताम्रमृष्टानुलेपनाः।सर्वे ते विविधैर्यानै श्शनैर्भरतमन्वयुः।।2.83.17।।
suveṣāḥ śuddhavasanās tāmramṛṣṭānulepanāḥ | sarve te vividhair yānaiḥ śanair bharatam anvayuḥ ||
وكانوا حسني الهيئة، لابسين ثيابًا طاهرة، مطيّبين بعجينة صندلٍ حمراء لامعة؛ فتبِعوا بهاراتا جميعًا على مهلٍ في مركباتٍ شتّى.
Gempolishers, potters, weaponsmiths, weavers, makers of adornments with peacock feathers, sawyers, makers of artificial ornaments, perforators of shells and ornaments, ivoryworkers, whitewashers, purveyors of fragrant essences, renowned goldsmiths, blanketcleaners, hotbath attendants, physicians, vintners, incense merchants, washermen, tailors, headmen of villages and hamlets, actors along with their wives, fishermen -- all followed Bharata.
Dharma includes outer discipline mirroring inner intent: cleanliness, orderly movement, and decorum accompany a morally serious mission.
The followers proceed behind Bharata in an organized, decorous procession using different conveyances.
Collective self-restraint and propriety—supporting a dharmic aim through disciplined public conduct.
