Transliteration

na sakāmāṃ kariṣyāmi svām imāṃ mātṛgandhinīm |

vane vatsyāmy ahaṃ durge rāmo rājā bhaviṣyati ||

Translation

لن أُحقق رغبة تلك المرأة—وإن كانت من أهلي—التي لا تحمل من الأمومة إلا الاسم. سأقيم في الغابة الوعرة البعيدة، وسيكون راما ملكًا.
