अहोरात्रोपवासेन स्वर्गलोके महीयते । एकरात्रं समासाद्य एकरात्रोषितो नरः

بصيام يومٍ وليلةٍ كاملين يُكرَّم المرء في عالم السماء. ومن أخذ بنذر ليلةٍ واحدة عُدَّ كأنه أقام (بفضل عمله) تلك الليلة.
