हवनात्तदवाप्नोति यदादौ फलमीरितम् । एवं नक्षत्रवृक्षोत्थवह्नौ तैस्तैर्मधुप्लुतैः ॥ १८५ ॥
havanāttadavāpnoti yadādau phalamīritam | evaṃ nakṣatravṛkṣotthavahnau taistairmadhuplutaiḥ || 185 ||
وبأداء الهَفَنَة (القربان في النار) ينال المرء عين الثمرة التي أُعلنت في البدء. وكذلك إذا قُدِّمت القرابين—وقد بُلِّلت كلٌّ منها بالعسل—في النار الموقدة من أخشاب الأشجار المرتبطة بكل نكشترة (nakṣatra)، تحققت الثمار المذكورة.

Though primarily ritual-technical, it supports bhakti by presenting offerings as disciplined acts of reverence; sincerity expressed through prescribed worship (homa) is said to culminate in the promised benefit.
Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa is implied through the nakṣatra–vṛkṣa linkage and the use of corresponding materials; it also reflects Kalpa-style ritual procedure—what to offer, into which fire, and with what adjunct (honey).
