The Exposition of the Nityā-paṭala
विधाय विद्यामष्टोर्द्धूशतं जप्त्वा हुनेत्ततः । एवं होमो महालक्ष्मीमावहेत्प्रतिपत्कृतः ॥ ११८ ॥
vidhāya vidyāmaṣṭorddhūśataṃ japtvā hunettataḥ | evaṃ homo mahālakṣmīmāvahetpratipatkṛtaḥ || 118 ||
بعد إتمام الشعيرة المقرّرة وتلاوة المانترا مئةً وثماني مرات، يُقدَّم بعد ذلك الآهوتي (القرابين) في النار. فإذا أُقيم هذا الهومَا (homa) على يوم براتيبَت (Pratipat، أول يوم قمري) فإنه يستدعي مها لاكشمي (Mahālakṣmī).
