प्राणप्रतिष्टां कृत्वा च पाद्यादीनि समर्पयेत् । रक्तचंदनपुष्पैश्च सिंदूराद्यैः समर्चयेत् ॥ ४४ ॥

بعد إجراء طقس برانا-براتيشثا (إثبات الحضور الحيّ في المعبود)، يقدّم خدمات العبادة بدءًا بماء غسل القدمين (بادْيا) وما يتبعه؛ ثم يعبدُه بخشب الصندل الأحمر والزهور وبالسِّندورا (الزنجفر/الحمرة) وما شابه من القرابين.
