Narada (teaching a technical ritual sequence within Vedanga-oriented material)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It emphasizes that a Vedic rite is completed not merely by offering, but by correctly sealing the ritual with specific mantric closures that neutralize negativity (“tamo-grasa”) and culminate in protection (“abhaya”).
While primarily technical, it reflects bhakti through disciplined reverence for sacred sound: completing the rite with prescribed mantras is treated as an act of faithful obedience that invokes divine safeguarding (abhaya).
It highlights ritual procedure and mantra-application—especially the svāhā-ending structure and the correct sequential use of specific utterances—aligned with Vedanga concerns such as śikṣā (proper recitation) and kalpa (ritual method).
