गङ्गामाहात्म्य — The Greatness of the Gaṅgā
बभूव बलवान्धर्मी कृतज्ञो गुणवान्सुधीः । धर्मज्ञः सोऽपि सगरो मुनेरमिततेजसः । समित्कुशाम्बुपुष्पादि प्रत्यहं समुपानयत् ॥ १५ ॥
babhūva balavāndharmī kṛtajño guṇavānsudhīḥ | dharmajñaḥ so'pi sagaro muneramitatejasaḥ | samitkuśāmbupuṣpādi pratyahaṃ samupānayat || 15 ||
وصار سَغَرا قويًّا، مستقيمًا على الدَّرما، شاكرًا للفضل، ذا فضائل وحِكمة—عارفًا بالدَّرما. وكان كلَّ يومٍ يحمل إلى الحكيم ذي البهاء الذي لا يُقاس قرابينَ مثل حطبِ القربان، وعشبِ الكوشا، والماء، والزهور، وما شابه ذلك.
