Narada (teaching), in dialogue context with Sanatkumara
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It prescribes a Viṣṇu-centered homa where the offering (pāyasa with ghee) and the sacred count (108) are joined with Vedic hymn-recitation, showing that devotion is strengthened through disciplined ritual and mantra.
Bhakti here is expressed as reverent action: offering oblations while reciting the Puruṣa-sūkta and Viṣṇu praises, aligning the worshipper’s mind, speech, and deed toward Viṣṇu.
It highlights ritual application (kalpa): correct materials (pāyasa, ghee), correct number (108), and correct sequencing of mantra/hymn recitation (beginning with Puruṣa-sūkta).
