Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It highlights disciplined, exact knowledge (a Vedāṅga-style method) as a support for clarity in sacred learning—showing that liberation-oriented study (mokṣa-dharma) values precision, not mere sentiment.
Indirectly: by teaching careful reckoning and correct procedure, it supports accurate recitation and transmission of sacred texts—an important aid to devotional practices centered on śravaṇa and kīrtana.
Chandas/Śikṣā-style technical enumeration: applying laghu (light) operations after a guru (heavy) unit and understanding how aggregated numerical marks yield a mixed total count.
