इष्टकर्मवधेमूलं च्युतं मिश्रात्कलांतरे । मानघ्नकालश्चातीतकालाघ्नफलसंहृताः ॥ ३९ ॥

iṣṭakarmavadhemūlaṃ cyutaṃ miśrātkalāṃtare | mānaghnakālaścātītakālāghnaphalasaṃhṛtāḥ || 39 ||

إنَّ الجذرَ الذي يُبطلُ ثوابَ الأعمالِ والطقوسِ المرغوبةِ يَسقُطُ مع تعاقُبِ الزمانِ عمّا اختلطَ بدوافعَ وعواملَ أُخرى. فإذا جاءَ الوقتُ الذي يَكسِرُ الكِبرَ، جُمِعتْ ثمارٌ كان الزمانُ قد أخذَ يَستنفِدُها من قبلُ جمعًا تامًّا، أي فَنِيَتْ كلّها.
