तुतोद तोत्ता तोत्स्यति तुदत्वतुदत्तुदेत्तुद्याद्धि । अतौत्सीदतोत्स्यदिति च रुणद्धि रूरोध रोद्धा रोत्स्यति वै ॥ ७६ ॥
tutoda tottā totsyati tudatvatudattudettudyāddhi | atautsīdatotsyaditi ca ruṇaddhi rūrodha roddhā rotsyati vai || 76 ||
“من الجذر tud («يضرب»): يقال tutoda (ضرب)، وtottā (الضارب)، وtotsyati (سيضرب)؛ وكذلك tudat (ضارب/يَضرِب)، وtudatva (حال/فعل الضرب)، وtudetta (ليضرب)، وtudyāt (ينبغي أن يضرب)، حقًّا. ومن الجذر rudh («يَحُول/يَسُدّ»): atautsīt (ضرب—صيغة أوريست تمثيلية)، وatotsyat (سيضرب—صيغة مستقبل تمثيلية)؛ وأيضًا ruṇaddhi (يَحُول)، rūrodha (حالَ/سدّ)، roddhā (الحائل)، وrotsyati (سيحول)، حقًّا.”
