Adhyaya 75 — Slaying of Mahishasura
यतः प्रभृति जातोऽसौ ततः प्रभृति सोऽप्यृषिः ।
दीर्घरोगपरामर्शमवाप मुनिपुङ्गवः ॥
yataḥ prabhṛti jāto 'sau tataḥ prabhṛti so 'py ṛṣiḥ | dīrgha-roga-parāmarśam avāpa muni-puṅgavaḥ ||
منذ اللحظة التي وُلِد فيها ذلك الطفل، ومنذ ذلك الوقت بعينه، أُصيب الحكيم أيضًا—وهو ثورُ الحكماء—بداءٍ مُلازِمٍ طويل الأمد.
The Purāṇic storyline often binds private life-events to moral-cosmic causality. Here, the co-arising of birth and affliction frames a teaching on the burdens of household life and the mysterious interweaving of fate and responsibility.
