Adhyaya 71 — Madhu-Kaitabha
एवं शप्ता सुता तेन सा चास्ते तत्र भूपते ।
नीता तेनोरगेन्द्रेण धृता तत्सुतया सती ॥
evaṃ śaptā sutā tena sā cāste tatra bhūpate / nītā tenoragendreṇa dhṛtā tat-sutayā satī
فلما لُعِنَتْ منه، أيها الملك، بقيتِ الابنةُ هناك. وكانت تلك المرأةُ الفاضلةُ قد جاء بها سيدُ الحيّات (الناگا)، فأمسكتها ابنتهُ هناك.
