Adhyaya 71The King’s Remorse and the Sage’s Counsel on the Necessity of a Wife

साम्प्रतं तु वने त्यक्ता न वेद्मि क्व नु सा गता । भक्षिताऽवापि विपिने सिंहव्याघ्रनिशाचरैः ॥

sāmprataṃ tu vane tyaktā na vedmi kva nu sā gatā / bhakṣitā vāpi vipine siṃha-vyāghra-niśācaraiḥ

ولكن الآن، وقد تُرِكتُها في الغابة، لا أدري إلى أين مضت—أم لعلها في الفلاة قد افترستها الأسود أو النمور أو كائناتٌ تجوب الليل.
