ततः स्वरोचिरित्येवं नाम्ना ख्यातो बभूव सः ॥
svarocibhir yato bhāti bhāsvān iva sa bālakaḥ / tataḥ svarocir ity evaṃ nāmnā khyāto babhūva saḥ

Names in Purāṇas often encode character and destiny; here identity is grounded in intrinsic luminosity—suggesting that true distinction is ‘self-born’ (sva) rather than borrowed.
Vaṃśānucarita: the naming of a lineage figure is a standard marker in genealogical narration within a manvantara.
‘Self-radiance’ points to svayaṃ-prakāśa (self-luminous awareness) as an inner archetype; the narrative externalizes it as bodily brilliance and a defining name.
