वर्तयन्ति स्म तेभ्यस् तास् त्रेतायुगमुखे तदा ।
ततः कालेन वै रागस् तासाम् आकस्मिकोऽभवत् ॥
vartayanti sma tebhyaḥ tās tretāyuga-mukhe tadā | tataḥ kālena vai rāgas tāsām ākasmiko 'bhavat ||
وهكذا عاشوا معتمدين على تلك (البيوت الشجرية) عند مطلع عصر التريتَا-يوغا. ثم مع مرور الزمن نهضت فيهم فجأةً شهوةٌ/رغبةٌ جامحة.
