द्वापरं द्वे सहस्रे तु वर्षाणां द्वे शते तथा ।
तस्य सन्ध्या समाख्याता द्वे शताब्दे तदंशकः ॥
dvāparaṃ dve sahasre tu varṣāṇāṃ dve śate tathā | tasya sandhyā samākhyātā dve śatābde tadaṃśakaḥ ||
عصرُ دْفابَرا ألفانِ من السنين الإلهيّة، وكذلك مئتا سنةٍ لوصلته. وقد أُعلن أنَّ سَندْهْيَا (sandhyā) مئتا سنة، وأنَّ سَندْهْيَامْشَا (sandhyāṃśa) على ذلك المقدار.
