ततः प्रहृष्टः प्रतिलभ्य कान्तां प्रणम्य नागं निजगाम सोऽथ ।
सुशोभमानः स्वपुरं तमश्वम् आरुह्य संचितितमभ्युपतेम् ॥
tataḥ prahṛṣṭaḥ pratilabhya kāntāṃ praṇamya nāgaṃ nijagāma so ’tha |
suśobhamānaḥ svapuraṃ tam aśvam āruhya saṃcintitam abhyupatem ||
ثم فرِحَ إذ استعاد محبوبته، فانحنى إجلالًا للنَّاغا وعاد. وكان مشرقًا، فامتطى ذلك الفرس ومضى إلى مدينته، منصرفَ الهمّة إلى ما عزم عليه.
