ततो विराट: कौन्तेयानतिमानुषविक्रमान्‌ | अर्चयामास वित्तेन मानेन च महारथान्‌,तदनन्तर राजा विराटने अतिमानुष (मानवीय शक्तिसे परे) पराक्रम करनेवाले महारथी कुन्तीपुत्रोंका धन और मानदानद्वारा सत्कार किया

Transliteration

tato virāṭaḥ kaunteyān atimānuṣa-vikramān | arcayāmāsa vittena mānena ca mahārathān ||

Translation

ثم إن الملك فيرَاطا، إذ أدرك أن أبناء كُنتي مَهارَثيون ذوو بأسٍ فوق طاقة البشر، أكرمهم بالمال وبالتوقير اللائق.
