सागरक्रमणे मन्त्र मन्त्रयाम: परंतप । परंतप! उसकी यह बात सुनकर हमलोग तुरंत उठे और समुद्र पार करनेके विषयमें परस्पर सलाह करने लगे

Transliteration

sāgarakramaṇe mantra mantra-yāmaḥ parantapa | parantapa! asyāḥ kathāyāḥ śrutvā vayam-āśu utthāya samudra-pāra-karaṇe viṣaye parasparaṃ mantrayituṃ pravṛttāḥ |

Translation

قال ماركاندييا: «يا مُحرِقَ الأعداء (بارَنتَپا)، تشاورنا في الوسيلة لعبور البحر. يا بارَنتَپا! فلما سمعنا كلامها نهضنا من فورنا وبدأنا نتداول فيما بيننا كيف نجتاز اليمّ.»
