स्वपुरं प्रययौ राजा चतुरंगबलानुग: । शोकोपहतया बुद्धया चिन्तयान: पराभवम्,राजा दुर्योधनकी बुद्धि शोकसे मारी गयी थी। वह अपने अपमानपर विचार करता हुआ चतुरंगिणी सेनाके साथ नगरकी ओर चल पड़ा
svapuraṁ prayayau rājā caturaṅgabalānugaḥ | śokopahatayā buddhyā cintayānaḥ parābhavam ||
قال فايشامبايانا: انطلق الملك إلى مدينته، تصحبه الجيوش ذات الأقسام الأربعة. وقد أصاب الحزنُ عقله فوهَنَ حكمُه، فظلّ وهو يمضي يستغرق في التفكير بهزيمته ومهانته.
