तामहं माययैवाशु प्रतिगृह्य व्यनाशयम् । तस्यां हतायां मायायां गिरिशृज्जैरयोधयत्,शाल्वकी उस मायाको मैंने मायाद्वारा ही नियन्त्रित करके नष्ट कर दिया। उस मायाका नाश होनेपर वह पर्वतके शिखरोंद्वारा युद्ध करने लगा
tām ahaṃ māyayāivāśu pratigṛhya vyanāśayam | tasyāṃ hatāyāṃ māyāyāṃ giriśṛṅgair ayodhayat ||
قال فاسوديفا: «تلك الخدعةُ الوهمية كففتُها سريعًا بقوتي الإلهية نفسها وأبَدتُها. فلما قُتلت تلك المايا، مضى يقاتل، يقذف ويضرب بقمم الجبال.»
