कुन्ती-विलापः तथा गोविन्द-आश्वासनम्

Kuntī’s Lament and Govinda’s Consolation

तब वहाँसे जाते हुए महाबाहु महाबली श्रीकृष्णकी आज्ञा ले सम्पूर्ण वृकस्थलनिवासी वहाँसे लौट गये ।।

dhārtarāṣṭrās tam āyāntaṁ pratyujjagmuḥ svalankṛtāḥ | duryodhanād ṛte sarve bhīṣma-droṇa-kṛpādayaḥ ||

قال فايشَمبايانا: لما اقترب شري كريشنا، خرج أبناءُ دهرتراشترا—متزيّنين بلباسٍ وحُليٍّ لائقة—لاستقباله. وقد فعل ذلك الجميع، ومنهم بيشما ودرونا وكريپا وغيرهم، سوى دوريوذانا. ويُبرز المشهدُ واجبَ البلاط في إكرام رسولٍ جليلٍ وشيخٍ مُهاب، بينما امتناعُ دوريوذانا يدلّ على كِبرٍ وعداءٍ يعرقلان المصالحة والدّارما.

As Kṛṣṇa arrives toward Hastināpura on his diplomatic mission, the Kaurava side—Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s sons and senior elders like Bhīṣma, Droṇa, and Kṛpa—go out ceremonially to welcome him, but Duryodhana alone does not join the reception.
