अम्बा–राम–भीष्म संवादः

Amba–Rama–Bhishma Dialogue on Vow and Refuge

महाराज भरतनन्दन! फिर उन वेदवादी मुनियोंको साथ ले परशुरामजी राजकन्या अम्बाके साथ कुरक्षेत्रमें आये ।।

nyaviśanta tataḥ sarve parigṛhya sarasvatīm | tāpasās te mahātmāno bhṛguśreṣṭha-puraskṛtāḥ ||

ثم إن أولئك الزهّاد العظام النفوس جميعًا، إذ اتخذوا ضفاف نهر سَرَسْوَتِي مأوى، نزلوا هناك للمبيت، وجعلوا في مقدمتهم أرفع آل بهريغو: باراشوراما. وفي سياق الحكاية تمثّل هذه وقفة مقصودة على نهج الدارما: فقد بلغوا كوروكشيترا لا على عَجَلٍ ولا بروح العداء، بل تحت هداية حكماء مُبجَّلين، واختاروا ضفة النهر المقدّس موضعًا لائقًا للمشورة وضبط النفس قبل الإقدام على الفعل الحاسم في قضية أمبا.
