तेषां श्रुत्वा प्रतिष्ठानं नामकर्मानुकीर्तनात् । कृत्वापि पातकं घोरं सद्यो मुच्येत मानव:
teṣāṃ śrutvā pratiṣṭhānaṃ nāma-karmānukīrtanāt | kṛtvāpi pātakaṃ ghoraṃ sadyo mucyeta mānavaḥ ||
قال فايشَمبايانا: إنّ سماعَ مقامهم الرفيع، والمواظبةَ على ذكر أسمائهم وأعمالهم، يُطهِّر الإنسان—ولو اقترف إثماً فظيعاً—فيُعتَق منه في الحال. ويؤكد هذا البيت قوةَ التذكّر والثناء على الصالحين في التطهير، ويجعل التجددَ الأخلاقي ميسوراً لمن صدق في السماع والتلاوة.
