केचिदध्ययने युक्ता वेदब्रतपरा: शुभा: । बुद्धिमन्तो गता: स्वर्ग तुष्टात्मानो जितेन्द्रिया:
kecid adhyayane yuktā vedavrataparāḥ śubhāḥ | buddhimanto gatāḥ svargaṃ tuṣṭātmāno jitendriyāḥ ||
قال البراهمن: «إنّ قومًا لزموا الدرس المقدّس، وثبتوا على النذور المباركة التي يأمر بها الفيدا؛ كانوا ذوي فطنةٍ وحكمة، راضين في نفوسهم، قاهرين لحواسّهم، فنالوا مقامًا في السماء.»
ब्राह्मण उवाच
