कारयामास राज्यं च पितरि स्वर्गते नूप । वर्षाणां शतमेक॑ च सहस््रं भीमविक्रम:,नरेश्वरर! उस भयानक पराक्रमी कुमारने पिताके स्वर्ग-वासी हो जानेपर ग्यारह सौ वर्षोतक राज्य किया
kārayāmāsa rājyaṃ ca pitari svargate nṛpa | varṣāṇāṃ śatam ekaṃ ca sahasraṃ bhīmavikramaḥ ||
قال بارفاتا: «أيها الملك، بعد أن مضى أبوه إلى السماء، تولّى ذلك البطل المهيب شديد البأس تدبير المملكة ألفًا ومئة سنة».
पर्वत उवाच
The verse highlights rājadharma: when a father dies, the heir’s ethical obligation is to uphold stable governance. Legitimate succession and sustained administration are presented as virtues of a powerful ruler.
Parvata addresses a king and recounts that, after his father’s death, a formidable prince took charge of the kingdom and ruled for eleven hundred years, emphasizing extraordinary longevity and continuous rule.
