पपात चोल्का महती पतिते पृथिवीपतौ । पृथ्वीपति दुर्योधनके गिर जानेपर आकाशसे पुनः महान् शब्द और बिजलीकी कड़कके साथ प्रज्वलित, भयंकर एवं विशाल उल्का भूमिपर गिरी || ५० $ ।।

لما سقط سيّدُ الأرض، اشتعل شهابٌ عظيمٌ ثم هوى وارتطم بالأرض—آيةٌ مشؤومةٌ من السماء تُعلن انهيار المُلك والنظام الأخلاقي الذي لم يكن يُمسَك إلا بالقوة. ويُبرز هذا الطالعُ أن السلطانَ الذي تقوده الأدهرما (اللا-دارما) لا ينتهي إلا إلى الخراب، وكأن الطبيعةَ نفسها تشهد بعواقب حربٍ جائرة.
